All Wings Report In: Columbia and NASCAR Team Up for Star Wars-Themed Car Wrap

Racing and cars have always been part of Star Wars’ DNA. George Lucas famously loved both, and you can see that appreciation reflected in the series’ warmly worn fighters, its sense of speed, and of course, the epic podrace sequence. “She doesn’t look like much, but she’s got it where it counts,” says Han Solo of the Millennium Falcon, and he sounds like anyone who’s ever had a beat-up car they still loved.

Columbia, a longtime Lucasfilm collaborator, has released Star Wars-themed collections every year since 2016, bringing in-universe looks to its famous outerwear. The company landed on Luke Skywalker’s X-wing flight suit as the inspiration for 2023’s range (launching December 1), which unexpectedly led to another collaboration — and one that hearkens back to the saga’s racing roots, as

13 of the Scariest Star Wars Scenes

The galaxy far, far away can be a scary place. From the second Darth Vader stepped onscreen in Star Wars: A New Hope — clad in black with a haunting mechanical breath, but calm, confident, and moving with purpose — it was clear that dangers abound in this cinematic world. The horrors would soon extend to slithery monsters, witches, and everything in between. As Halloween arrives, StarWars.com celebrates the bone-chilling side of the saga with a look at 13 of its scariest scenes.

From the Pages of Star Wars Insider: A New Mission Begins in an Original Star Wars: The High Republic Tale

It’s a new life for Joss and Pikka Adren.

The former contractors helped build the Starlight Beacon, and bravely helped in the fallout from its destruction. Now members of the Republic Defense Corps, the husband-and-wife team must face real galactic threats. In StarWars.com’s exclusive excerpt of “No Big Deal” by Lydia Kang, an original Star Wars: The High Republic short story included in Star Wars Insider #222, we find the duo headed for a meeting on their next adventure…

Being on solid ground is supposed to be a comforting thing, especially on a planet like Eriadu. Here, everything on the planet was inviting – from the tavern-laden streets of the various cities, to snow-dusted mountains hiding their inner riches of lommite ore. The place begged you to keep your feet planted

Defining Moments: Ahsoka and Anakin Say Goodbye

No one’s ever really gone, but in Star Wars — as in real life — sometimes a farewell has more finality than we at first realize.

We thought Ahsoka Tano and her Master Anakin Skywalker may have parted ways for good when Tano decided to leave the Jedi Order at the end of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 5. Falsely accused of a brutal bombing at the Jedi Temple, Anakin’s faith in his Padawan never faltered, but we can’t say the same for her belief in the Jedi Order, or the Council’s support of one of their own. At the end of the ordeal, the Jedi apologized, but Ahsoka still decided to walk away, leaving her lightsabers and her friends behind.

That is, until The Clone Wars was saved
