Ahsoka, the Upcoming Disney+ Original Series, Begins Production

Ahsoka Tano’s next adventure has begun.

Today Lucasfilm shared a photo to mark the start of production on Ahsoka, the upcoming Disney+ Original series. Check it out below!

Ahsoka Tano first debuted in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie, before starring in the animated series of the same name, and appearing in Star Wars Rebels and more. The beloved character would then make the jump to live-action in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.

Salvatore — who prefers to be called Bob — has been an established fantasy writer for over three decades, known for his popular character Drizzt Do’Urden in the Forgotten Realms series among dozens of other titles. Salvatore also wrote two Star Wars novels, including the adaptation of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, which arrived along with the movie 20 years ago in the spring of 2002. Behind the Mac: Skywalker Sound, a new documentary short film from Apple (co-produced by Imagine Entertainment and Delirio Films), shines a light on the legendary studio that turned sound design into an art form, creating sounds for the Star Wars saga and near-countless other films for over 40 years. Behind the Mac: Skywalker Sound takes viewers inside Skywalker Sound at Skywalker Ranch in Nicasio, California, featuring sound designers, foley artists, and mixers as they discuss their techniques and reveal how many iconic film and TV sounds came to be. Behind the Panels of Marvel’s Star Wars: Obi-Wan #1 – Exclusive

While Luke Skywalker initially bristled at the idea of joining Obi-Wan Kenobi on an adventure, artist Ario Anindito didn’t hesitate. The penciller of the first issue of Marvel’s new Star Wars: Obi-Wan miniseries, which kicks off today in celebration of May the 4th, Anindito replied with an instant yes when asked to join the project. “Obi-Wan is one of my favorite Jedi,” he tells StarWars.com, “so when [Marvel editor] Mark Paniccia offered me the chance to do this, I got on board very quickly!” 

The series finds Obi-Wan in his later years on Tatooine, as the legendary Jedi Master hides from the Empire and watches over Luke Skywalker from afar. In each issue, Obi-Wan chronicles earlier adventures in his journals, offering a look at the Star Wars icon throughout his life.
