SWCA 2022: 5 Product Reveals We Love from the Star Wars Merchandise Sneak Peek Panel

At the Disney Parks/shopDisney merchandise panel, hosted by Amy Ratcliffe, Brad Schoeneberg (VP, brand merchandising), Cody Hampton (senior manager, brand merchandising), Amanda Luna (brand merchandising manager), Elisa Melchiori (brand merchandising manager), and John Henselmeier (associate product design manager) announced some exciting new and upcoming Star Wars goodies for both Disney Parks and shopDisney’s online store. The unofficial theme of Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022 seems to be “Hello there.” And this year’s highly-anticipated Hasbro Star Wars panel kept the theme going, introducing fans to fresh spins on classic characters and a wave of new products inspired by upcoming Star Wars entertainment.

In a panel discussion, Patrick (brand director, Hasbro Star Wars), Vickie (sr. design director, Hasbro Star Wars), Chris, (LucasFilm), Chris (product design manager, Hasbro Star Wars), Jing (brand manager, Hasbro Star Wars), Emily (sr. product designer, Hasbro Star Wars), and Eric (product designer, Hasbro Star Wars) introduced fans to a slew of upcoming releases, complete with a few surprises. Although for some of us it feels like only yesterday, it’s been 20 years since Star Wars: Attack of the Clones first arrived on movie screens. At Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022, fans gathered on the event’s largest stage to hear memories and insights about the first all-digital blockbuster and a critical chapter in the Skywalker saga.

SWCA 2022: Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, and More Star Wars Characters Coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park

Boba Fett and Fennec Shand are heading for Black Spire Outpost. 

At Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022 in the “From a Galaxy Far, Far Away to Disney Park Near You” panel, it was announced that the daimyo of Tatooine and his loyal advisor will stake a claim in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park — starting today, May 28. The duo’s appearance will constitute an untold tale in their journey, and visitors may encounter Boba and Fennec as they attempt to remain in the shadows. But the central characters of The Book of Boba Fett are not the only visitors coming to Batuu. The Mandalorian and his ward, Grogu, will also arrive at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at a later date.

SWCA 2022: Gather Your Younglings for the Young Jedi Adventures Series

A new class of aspiring Jedi younglings are set to enter The High Republic next year.

As announced on the Star Wars LIVE! Stage at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim today, Young Jedi Adventures is coming to Disney+ and Disney Junior in the spring of 2023.

The first full-length animated Star Wars series created for preschoolers, early grade schoolers, and their families, these original stories will follow Younglings as they are swept off into adventures, and start their journeys on the path to becoming Jedi Knights, learning valuable skills for our galaxy and the galaxy far, far away. The Jedi-in-training will tackle topics of compassion, self-discipline, teamwork, patience, and friendship.
