From a Certain Point of View: Who is Your Favorite Supporting Character in The Mandalorian So Far?

One of the great things about Star Wars is that it inspires endless debates and opinions on a wide array of topics. Best bounty hunter? Most powerful Jedi? Does Salacious Crumb have the best haircut in the saga? In that spirit, StarWars.com presents From a Certain Point of View: a series of point-counterpoints on some of the biggest — and most fun — Star Wars issues. In this installment, two StarWars.com writers defend their favorite supporting character from The Mandalorian so far…

No contest. It’s Kuiil, says Amy.

“You are a bounty hunter. I will help you. I have spoken.”

These are some of the first words Kuiil spoke in The Mandalorian and they sum up why he’s the best supporting character. An Ugnaught of few words, Kuiil was a patient problem solver in a harsh world. He wasn’t

“This is the Way”: Artists from Around the World Celebrate The Mandalorian

One of the most beautiful aspects to Star Wars is that it knows no boundaries or borders. Its fanbase is worldwide, and the themes of Star Wars — selflessness, friendship, family — are universal. And that spirit lies at the very core of a series of posters released earlier this month by The Walt Disney Company to mark the release of The Mandalorian Season 2 on Disney+.

In partnership with the marketing agency MEOKCA, The Walt Disney Company recruited eight artists from eight different countries to craft their own interpretations of the series, all of which feature the Mandalorian creed “This is the Way” translated into their own language. The styles are wondrously varied, ranging from Eileen Steinbach of Germany, with a minimalist expression, to Brazil’s Kin Noise, who infused

Star Wars: Squadrons Salutes Fans With New Starfighters and More

Breathe easy for a moment, pilots. There’s a supply drop incoming in the form of a content update!

Star Wars: Squadrons took off in October and the game’s popularity has only skyrocketed since. The immersive flight and combat simulator has captured the feeling of sitting in the cockpit of an X-wing or TIE fighter unlike any other game that’s come before. With an overwhelming positive reaction and a thriving player community, Star Wars: Squadrons is flying high.

And the grateful Star Wars: Squadrons team is saying thank you this holiday season with a free, two-part content update. A new multiplayer map, Fostar Haven, and four new ship components will be added this month, and two new starfighters and custom matches will be deployed in December.

Bo-Katan Lives! Katee Sackhoff on the Live-Action Debut of Her Mandalorian Warrior

It started out as something of a joke. Backstage at Star Wars Celebration Chicago in April of 2019, Katee Sackhoff and Dave Filoni were discussing his next project, The Mandalorian, the same weekend fans got their first look at the live-action series.

“I remember saying to Dave Filoni, ‘You know, not for nothing, but I think [Bo-Katan is] not dead,’” Sackhoff recently tells StarWars.com. Outwardly, she assured her friend and longtime collaborator that she wasn’t going to pressure him to bring her character into the series, which takes place in-galaxy about five years after the fall of the Empire and nearly 10 years after we last saw Bo-Katan Kryze raising the Darksaber aloft in the animated Star Wars Rebels. But inside? “I remember just thinking, ‘Come on, man!’”

Gigi Burris Launches Star Wars Headwear Collection with Character

A new line of Star Wars-inspired hats and headpieces marries couture detailing, thoughtful materials, and fashion-forward design with some of the most identifiable characteristics of our favorite classic trilogy characters.

Gigi Burris, the lead designer of the Star Wars X Gigi Burris collection, founder, and namesake of the high-end millinery house based in Manhattan, discovered Star Wars in a darkened all-purpose room at her childhood summer camp near her family home outside Orlando, Florida. Now she hopes fans might snag her specialty pieces for Disney bounding at the Disney Parks, a special occasion, or to simply add a subtle nod to their fandom into their everyday fashion accessories.

Prior to the shutdown that sent Burris and many others working from home earlier this year, Burris and her team were in the studio
