SWCA 2022: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords Coming to Nintendo Switch

The Sith are looking to crush the Old Republic and finally eliminate the Jedi — on Nintendo Switch.

Announced today at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022, the classic RPG Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is coming to Nintendo’s popular console. Arriving June 8 from developer Aspyr and Lucasfilm Games, the standalone sequel to the beloved Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic finds the Sith ascending, and only the galaxy’s few remaining Jedi can stop them.

SWCA 2022: Gather Your Younglings for the Young Jedi Adventures Series

A new class of aspiring Jedi younglings are set to enter The High Republic next year.

As announced on the Star Wars LIVE! Stage at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim today, Young Jedi Adventures is coming to Disney+ and Disney Junior in the spring of 2023.

The first full-length animated Star Wars series created for preschoolers, early grade schoolers, and their families, these original stories will follow Younglings as they are swept off into adventures, and start their journeys on the path to becoming Jedi Knights, learning valuable skills for our galaxy and the galaxy far, far away. The Jedi-in-training will tackle topics of compassion, self-discipline, teamwork, patience, and friendship.

Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022 kicked off with Lucasfilm’s Studio Showcase, featuring teasers and new details on the future of Star Wars and beyond. There was a lot to love, and fans all their own favorite moments.

For Alyssa Wise and Lori Pettibone, John Williams surprising fans with a concert was the highlight. “The whole thing was unexpected but it just kept getting better and better,” says Wise with a wide smile. Both Wise and Pettibone were shocked when the full orchestra was brought out to the stage for Williams to conduct Obi-Wan’s new theme — live for the first time  — as well as the theme for Indiana Jones, and ending with the iconic “Imperial March.”
