When he’s finally released from the stasis chamber, his first waking thoughts are locked in the past, dwelling on escaping from the Citadel. But that was long ago.

He was left for dead, yet somehow survived. And

The debut episode of Star Wars: The High Republic Show is here — and with it some major reveals.

First, host Krystina Arielle pulled back the curtain on a brand-new character: Wayseeker Jedi Orla Jareni, who promises to play a big role in Claudia Gray’s novel Into the Dark. As a Wayseeker, Orla goes where the Force takes her and, according to Arielle, the book will feature flashbacks to Orla’s time as a Padawan and follow her journey to Jedi Knighthood. Plus, as seen in the above concept art, Orla wields a hinged double-bladed lightsaber — Dark Rey-style! Get all the answers when Into the Dark arrives next week!

Krystina Arielle had only been in Los Angeles for a couple years, after driving her most prized possessions cross-country from her home state of Georgia, when she stumbled upon the red carpet premiere for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. From the outside looking in, she could just glimpse the spectacle inside, but she vowed then and there to have the chance to see it for herself one day. “I want to go to one of those!” she says.

A year and a half later, that’s exactly what she did. Modeling a Lando Calrissian-inspired cosplay, Krystina landed an invitation to be among the fans attending the world premiere of Solo: A Star Wars Story. After the rebels reactivated an ancient droid for an urgent mission, it was up to Lobot to control the malfunctioning machine. The connection proved difficult to maintain for the cyborg, however. R2-D2 once delivered the Death Star plans to the Rebellion; soon, the plucky astromech — and nine other Star Wars droids — will help your mail reach its destination, too.

The U.S. Postal Service announced today a new series of Star Wars stamps, all devoted to our favorite galactic droids. Designed by Greg Breeding with William Gicker serving as art director, the collection will be available on a pane of 20 stamps and feature droids from both film and animation, including IG-11, R2-D2, K-2SO, D-O, L3-37, BB-8, C-3PO, a Gonk droid, 2-1B surgical droid, and Chopper. Look for these droid-tastic stamps to arrive in spring 2021 and check them out below!
