Fans of the Jedi Avar Kriss and Elzar Mann have been patiently waiting since reading that final scene in The Eye of Darkness.

Today, we get our first hints at the continuation of their story in the sequel novel, Temptation of the Force by Tessa Gratton, arriving this summer. With the reveal of a bold new cover from artist Grant Griffin and a first look at the official synopsis of the penultimate adult novel in Phase III of Star Wars: The High Republic, the book reunites us with Avar, Elzar, and other fan-favorites including Burryaga the Wookiee, Bell Zettifar, and Vernestra Rwoh as they hunt down Nihil leader Marchion Ro.

For some up-and-coming Jedi, this is where the fun begins.

Six new episodes of Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures arrive today on Disney+ and Disney Junior, completing the first full season of the Children’s & Family Emmy Award-winning animated series. Twenty-five episodes are now available in total, along with several shorts, for your own younglings to enjoy.

The Mandalorian meets Rocket League? They’ll never see it coming.

Lucasfilm and Psyonix announced today that characters and iconography from The Mandalorian are blasting onto Rocket League in a special Limited Time Event called Mandalorian Mayhem. Running February 7-21, Mandalorian Mayhem will feature a bounty of cosmetic surprises and a new mode for fans of the hit Disney+ series. See the trailer below.

Players can look forward to Challenges to unlock The Mandalorian-inspired Toppers (including Mando’s helmet, jetpack, and Grogu), Player Banners, and other items. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Dial of Destiny Win Grammy Awards

Two big Lucasfilm releases were recognized with wins at the 2024 Grammy Awards.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the hit video game by Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games, won Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media, with composers Stephen Barton and Gordy Haab honored. Survivor is the critically-acclaimed followup to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, following Jedi Cal Kestis in his fight against the Empire.

Finally, the legendary John Williams won Best Instrumental Composition for “Helena’s Theme,” as heard in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Williams, who has scored every Indy film, returned to the series for Indy’s final adventure with Dial of Destiny, to the joy of fans around the world.

The soundtracks for both Survivor and Dial of Destiny are streaming and available now in various formats.

Lucasfilm Wins Several Categories at Saturn Awards

It was a big night for Lucasfilm at the 51st Annual Saturn Awards in Burbank, California, on Sunday.

Andor, which premiered September 21, 2022, on Disney+, took home the award for Best New Genre Television Series. Helmed by Tony Gilory and starring Diego Luna in the title role, Andor serves as a prequel to the hit film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Season 2 is currently in production.

In addition, Star Wars: The Bad Batch won Best Animated Television Series for the second year in a row, this time for its second season. The animated series follows the heroic Clone Force 99, a squad of elite clones who become renegades following the rise of the Empire. The final season of The Bad Batch premieres February 21 on Disney+.
