Star Wars: Visions is a unique blend of galactic lore and visual storytelling, an anthology series that invited seven Japanese anime studios to explore their own idea of Star Wars.

To celebrate the series debut, now streaming on Disney+, the artists behind the animation created poster art for every short, custom creations that capture the identity of each story and studio. Listen in as Star Wars: Visions producer Kanako Shirasaki breaks down each one from the literal connotation of “Akakiri,” realized in a wash of red, to the tour poster feel of “Tatooine Rhapsody.”

Star Wars: The High Republic: Trail of Shadows picks up following the tragic events at the Republic fair, as depicted in the novel Star Wars: The High Republic: The Rising Storm. Jedi Knight Emerick Caphtor and in-demand private eye Sian Holt are on the case, and in Trail of Shadows #2, they’ll become partners.

Before Ghosts, the IDW comic series Tales From Vader’s Castle, Return to Vader’s Castle, and The Shadow of Vader’s Castle gave us Star Wars frights in years past. This year, Scott teamed up with wildly talented artists including Francesco Francavilla and Derek Charm for five horrifically great tales set in a galaxy far, far away. In StarWars.com’s exclusive preview of the next issue of Marvel’s Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters, part of the comic crossover event following the hunt for Han Solo after Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Fett uses an old code to get back behind Imperial lines with Beilert Valance reluctantly by his side. LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales arrived October 1 on Disney+, but the frightful fun’s not over. Disney+ is celebrating the new Halloween-themed special with a clever poster that honors The Shining, swapping out the Grady twins from the Overlook Hotel for a pair of porgs — and the results are both hilarious and horrifying.
