SDCC 2023: 10 Reveals from the Lucasfilm Publishing Panel

Judging by the latest cover reveals for Phase III, the Jedi of Star Wars: The High Republic are bringing the fight to the Nihil when the new books and comics arrive later this year.

Today, Lucasfilm’s Michael Siglain, publishing creative director, hosted a panel of all-star authors Delilah S. Dawson, Justina Ireland, E.K. Johnston, George Mann, Cavan Scott, Charles Soule, and narrator and voice actor Marc Thompson at San Diego Comic-Con 2023. During the hour-long discussion, we got new insights into the next phase of storytelling in the era of the High Republic, an early glimpse inside the pages of comics including Marvel’s Dark Droids and Dark Horse’s Tales from the Death Star, and got our first look at other covers and spreads from forthcoming books and comics. Explore New Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures Episodes This Summer

Jedi younglings Kai Brighstar, Lys Solay, Nubs, and their friends are about to embark on all-new adventures.

Today, Lucasfilm, Disney+, and Disney Junior announced six new episodes of Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures will debut on Disney+ and Disney Junior beginning August 2, 2023, with even more episodes to come later this year. In total, Season 1 will be a 25-episode run.

Set during the era of The High Republic, the animated series follows Jedi younglings as they study the ways of the Force and learn valuable skills. Since its premiere on Star Wars Day, May the 4th, the series has been nominated for a 2023 Television Critics Association Award and earned a Common Sense Seal from Common Sense Media, which acknowledges outstanding media that families can enjoy together.

Andor, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Mandalorian, and Light & Magic have been honored with 23 nominations in 21 different categories at the 75th Primetime Emmy® Awards. New Ahsoka Trailer: The Former Jedi Prepares for the Return of Thrawn

Once a rebel, always a rebel.

Lucasfilm has released a new trailer for Ahsoka — and it’s the most action-packed look yet at the upcoming Disney+ series, confirmed to premiere with its first two episodes on August 23. The story follows Anakin Skywalker’s former Padawan (Rosario Dawson) after the events of The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, as she continues her search for Grand Admiral Thrawn.
